Ashton @ Eco Horizon, official launch tomorrow

Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) will unveil four projects tomorrow in Penang and the Klang Valley.

These four projects are the first project of Eco Forest in Semenyih, Eco Business Park V in Puncak Alam, Eco Ardence second phase in Setia Alam and Eco Horizon in Batu Kawan, Penang.

EcoWorld Malaysia president and CEO Datuk Chang Khim Wah, together with the company’s divisional general managers Datuk Hoe Mee Ling, Ho Kwee Hong, Evon Yap and Liew Tian Xiong, will be officiating the launches tomorrow in their respective show galleries within the Klang Valley.

Up north, EcoWorld will be launching the first phase of landed homes in its 300-acre Eco Horizon township in Batu Kawan, Penang. Eco Horizon will be the first gated-and-guarded development in Batu Kawan.

Named Ashton, the first phase will comprises 2-storey terraced homes, super linked homes and garden homes.

With built-ups ranging from 2,290 sq ft to 2,601 sq ft, the average price of units in phase 1 is RM818,000.

Ashton will have a total of 704 units, of which 424 units will be open for sale this weekend.

In total, EcoWorld has about 8,052.7 acres of landbank with a total GDV of RM87.5 billion. The developer has 20 ongoing projects in the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia and Penang.

Aspen Vision City Development Update

Covering 245 acres of freehold land in Bandar Cassia, Batu Kawan, Aspen Vision City is the collaboration between Aspen Group and Ikano Pte Ltd, owner of popular furniture franchise IKEA.

Among the key highlights of Aspen Vision City is the development of an integrated shopping centre and the Northern Region’s very first IKEA store. The much-anticipated IKEA furniture store as well as the shopping centre will be placed under the management of Ikano Pte Ltd.

Strategically located at the landing point of the Second Penang Bridge, Aspen Vision City offers a mix of condominiums, shop offices, serviced suites, hotels, office tower, financial hub, medical centre and international school.

Current Developments:

Vervea –  The first phase of Aspen Vision City’s development at the heart of Bandar Cassia, Batu Kawan. Located on a 35-acre freehold land, claimed to be the largest gated and guarded commercial precinct developed in Penang.

Utropolis @ Batu Kawan Development Update

The 44.3-acre Utropolis Batu Kawan development, with an approximate Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM1.8 billion, comprises well-integrated residential, commercial, retail and hotel components, anchored by a new flagship campus for KDU Penang University College, owned and operated by Paramount Education. The 10.5-acre campus will be the biggest purpose-built campus in Batu Kawan when fully completed.

Work on the development has commenced; the campus is scheduled for completion by 2019, while the first phase of the property development offering, comprising offices and retail shops, is now on sale, with gross prices starting from RM326,600. The second phase is expected to launch soon.
