    High density means more facilities and development. if not, then go stay in Kelantan – guaranteed peaceful and lots of green fields

    High density is still fine. The concern here is the roads around the high-rise buildings, whether they are broad enough to control the traffic congestion.

    Nowadays working adults have staggered working hours ie they clock in at diff times and some even have the option to work from home. Gone are the days when the boss must physically see the employees. Today it’s the results that count. Does not matter if you are in the office 24/7. So I think congestion esp in the evenings is no issue. In fact I am glad that this place is starting to develop. I have been telling people to look out for this area 6 years ago….it’s the next logical boom area due to its location

    Sg Ara is definitely a good location. Very central. More projects mean more development and amenities will arrive. The current ‘hot property’ area for Penang Island

  18. Sg Ara
    October 11th, 2016 at 15:35 | #18

    There are more and more development in Sg Ara area. More and more rich people’s staying in Sg Ara. Yet there are no proper commercial centre for resident convenient. Roads are not upgraded. Drainage system still poor. Franchise shops not available. Still have many things need to do.

    I saw a construction of an elevated highway along the river from Chong Zheng all the way to FTZ. Traffic will improve very soon for folks working in FTZ.

    I don’t see it at Chong Zheng. I think you are mistaken. As far as I know it should be Chung San near to airport. Actually this is not the elevated highway as you mentioned here. This is just an elevated U-Turn only.

    @Bayan Lepas

    Actually the land along the river has been cleared and some of the beams have been put up. The highway is right behind Bomba.
