Those who are interested must go and view and don’t forget to check the windows.

If @Funny think the windows are not small, then I’m 100% sure windows of other expensive condos including Andaman are too big and not good.

It means most luxury condos are unacceptable for you because their windows are too big.

Those who want to buy may simply buy from the second hand market. As usual in Penang, most (if not all) owners buy property for selling. There will be lots of unit for sales.

for those that have collected the keys, could you please share whether the two rooms with small windows are really that dark, from the show house previously, the lighting seems to be ok. Also, anyone measured the actual ceiling height?

    thank you for sharing.

Small window, you bought santorini and now a sour grape seeing how good looking is The Tamarind, is it? Please lar, if you cannot afford it, don’t keep on telling people it has small window. The window size is ok, not big but not as small as you try to portray it.

Yes, many residential apartments also Airbnb, just like there are always people who break the law in this world, robbing, murder, rape, steal, ……so does that make it OK for you to do the same? *sigh*

Many owners buy properties for investment purpose only so they like the concept of Airbnb. But owners who lives in there would definitely report to management if their home area are frequented by strangers.

On the basis when you as the owner sign the DMC when you purchased The Tamarind which legally bind you that Airbnb are not allowed. Go and argue in the court all you want, perhaps you can even tell the court like how our ah jib gor do it that you are not aware of what you are signing. hahaha

I am really tickled by this debate on the window size! I have one unit here too, and I have also visited a few friends’ units. To be honest, whether dark or not, it depends on which unit. Yes, the size of the windows are smaller than usual. Corridor is also dark. Workmanship ok, ok as in corresponding to the price we pay, this should be the least E&O should give us. There are some very unlucky owners whose units face Jazzs ultra big car park exhaust fans, super noisy. Too bad.

  37. John
    February 20th, 2019 at 22:58 | #44

Some units are better but some units’ facing direction is bad. I think Penang people should learn a lesson. Even a good project got some units that’s not worth to buy.
