The Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP), through its Commissioner of Buildings (COB) Department, will be organizing an Online Strata Awareness Quiz in conjunction with the council’s sixth City Day celebration this year.

According to MBSP Mayor Dato’ Baderul Amin Abdul Hamid, the initiative aims to enhance public understanding and awareness of strata management, particularly among property owners, residents, and those directly involved in strata housing schemes under MBSP’s administration.

“The quiz will be conducted online via Google Forms from 24 to 26 October 2025. Meanwhile, visual guides and materials related to the program will be displayed from 21 to 23 October 2025 to help participants prepare for the quiz,” he said during the 616th Full Council Meeting (Session 10/2025) held at Menara Bandaraya MBSP this morning.

Participation is open to owners, residents, and members of Joint Management Bodies (JMBs) or Management Corporations (MCs) who are interested in testing their knowledge of strata-related matters.

To encourage participation, MBSP will be offering cash prizes and certificates to the winners. The first prize winner will receive RM400, while the second prize is RM300. In addition, four consolation winners will each take home RM150.

The prize-giving ceremony will take place during the Celik Strata 2025 Program on 15 November 2025, marking the culmination of MBSP’s ongoing efforts to promote better understanding of strata management among the Seberang Perai community.
