    Residential Commercial
    kWh Rate Cost Rate Cost
    0 – 200 0.218 43.6 0.435 87
    201 – 300 0.334 33.4 0.509 50.9
    301 – 600 0.516 154.8 0.509 152.7
    601 – 900 0.546 163.8 0.509 152.7

    900 kWh 395.6 443.3
    600 kWh 231.8 290.6

I was calculating the residential vs commercial tariffs. Difference comes up to 50-60 RM a month. If we are investing RM10k to convert, the break-even comes after about 14 years. Might not be worth the effort. If GSD helps us convert though, that would be a different story.

Nope. Ensuring fact and not hear say is shared. Far to many hear says are shared. Validating facts is a lost art, or perhaps simply boils down to apathy and the culture of not taking responsibility. A counter intiutive culture that is just ingrained deeply within the fabric of the community. May be one does not understand or mature enough to take heed that, hear say, when its negative can be very damaging. One of the downside to social media is allowing anyone to say anything in the name of freedom of speech but not articulating factual messages. @Lecture

Tag the price at $1.17 millions for 1950sf units, well, that’s why they are still selling…., not sold. Beware of the affordability level, $550k an unit vs $1.1 million an unit, who has more potential customers? The age of a building is not that relevant, it’s the maintenance condition, frankly speaking, PP isn’t that old.

If you at the price of mostly newly launched same category class of condos in Penang, at prime location as such this or Georgetown, you will find per sqft already in the region of 1K. Thus it is within this ballpark figure for Summerton. Most of the new property launched these days are commercial titled mixed development. Suave investors, will find commercial assessment is nothing compared to the gain from capital return as proven in Penang properties.

I am amused that every time a condo is close to completion, the negative statements start to come out, while the owners start to syiok with outrageous numbers but this is economics for you. The negative/sarcastic statements are those from non-owners who wish to buy at a lower price. Owners give ridiculous numbers for whatever reasons. Let’s stick to the facts. 1k is absurd. 350psft is back when nobody knew what an Ipad was. I think 550 to 600 psft is reasonable for now.

it is pale n gloomy green. compare it with the surrounding condos. summerton looks weak and inferior. ..if u want to knw wat is white, check out the light point or linear condo.
besides, the pale color is see through. i mean it cant hide the crack line of the building.
the unit costs millions. we need to be particular! let’s complain b4 it is too late.

daniel, take a real look and compare it with the kwsp building..or if u look at all the colors of other buildings, summerton looks weak and gloomy green white. Hospital color.
    Must complain!

    poon :

nic :I am amused that every time a condo is close to completion, the negative statements start to come out, while the owners start to syiok with outrageous numbers but this is economics for you. The negative/sarcastic statements are those from non-owners who wish to buy at a lower price. Owners give ridiculous numbers for whatever reasons. Let’s stick to the facts. 1k is absurd. 350psft is back when nobody knew what an Ipad was. I think 550 to 600 psft is reasonable for now.Current karket price is RM650sf…expect tp go up to RM750 once completed.

    Very well said! thumbs up…..!

Market price now is rm600 and obce completed, there shud not have any issue from rm650 to 700 since Summerton is prime area. Surrounding is just too good plus a lot if infratrsuture coming up. If u hold on to another 3 yrs, it shud go up to rm700 easily

This is a time to step back a little. RM650k for a tiny 1000sf apartment? You need to take a drive to batu kawan, check out the house price there, and keep things in perspective.

Ageed with you on some people are always bad mounting these projects.
As they always leave negetive feedback and hope people dont buy it now. Hoping the market go bad then they can pick one cheap unit from their limited pocket money. Haha.
I beleive they not even own one now….

This is normal human behavior….when they got none then they will say bad..when they got one then they will say excellent project.

Anyway, I like so much of this project, this is good project as it located at prime location and the building look grand. Concept also good.

I dont have a unit here…but I still say this because is from my bottom of heart.
