When GST implemented, does it mean that commercial title will be charged 6% to the seller? So the unit will be 6% more expensive right?

Yes, under commercial all kena 6% tax. Either paid by buyer or obsord by the seller, means commercial will be selling higher and higher as the “change hand” increase. So godbless ccommercial unit especially those condo which not use for commercial and get the commercial return.

There is one thing i am very confused about commercial title in ELIT.
i saw outside lift, there is notice from management prohibiting the owners to rent out their unit on daily basis. is it legal for management to do that?
Why cannot? i thought it is commercial title whereby we can use as commercial purpose such as office, daily rental, hair salon etc?

I agreed that property under commercial title shall be paying higher assessment fee.
But bear in mind that the property under commercial title status could be review time to time with the approval of the MBPP provided the resident file a complaint and appeal with certain terms and condition which agreed and could be met in a couple of years.
I believe it would not be continue as commercial title for long time. I have send an email to MBPP Penang to understand more about this. Perhaps, this is the main cause for the property which getting difficulty to sell at this moment.
I am personally also looking for a unit but was thinking twice before making any decision. It is unfair for a resident who buy the unit for residential stay but paying commercial rate especially for those not too sure when they book a unit from the developer while the project being launched.

RM550K for 1450sqf is not transaction price lah. This is buyer request price. I can put “looking for RM400k for 1450sqf” too.
Elit Height is good in location and vy “ONG” for eateries nowadays.
Flood issue is not big deal as gov is digging the drain for improvement. Somemore your car is not parking at basement/ground floor (not like the Sri Saujana condo in Sg.Dua where a few cars parking at GND floor hit badly by flood lately).
Also it is commercial title, means cukai taksiran more expensive…
