Batu Maung units snapped up
A total of 100 M Vista apartments have been taken up at a preview held at a show gallery in Batu Maung, Penang.
“This overwhelming response indicates a strong demand for affordable property.
“M Vista comprises 237 apartments located in Batu Maung.
“The units are priced from RM345,800,” said Mah Sing Group Bhd managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum in a statement.
“Under the campaign, Mah Sing hosted simultaneous previews and unit selections for three projects across Malaysia.
The projects were M Centura in the Klang Valley, Fern in Meridin East, Johor Baru, and M Vista in Penang.
“M Centura and Fern both recorded a commendable average take-up rate of 95%,” Leong added.
M Vista focuses on providing convenience for its buyers from all walks of life.
Residents of the units ranging in size from 536 to 1,201sq ft will enjoy ample facilities.
They include barbeque and outdoor dining areas complete with a herbarium corner filled with edible herbs available for use.
There will also be an indoor play area and reading corner for children, relaxation area, secret garden and gym.
The development is strategically located only 1km from the second Penang bridge and about 9km from the Penang Bridge.
It is also near the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway.

Exactly, with so many better condos selling less than RM600 psf in better locations, especially in current market conditions, why would someone want to buy at this price in Batu Maung
Lol last time I bought double storey terrace at batu maung 400k, my frd said me sohai, sold 900k last year, dont care just buy 400k for 600sf, sell 900k later haha

Just curious what year you bought your double storey terrace?
MS staff will tell you they are selling future.. just like they told the same thing few years back for the loft and southbay plaza.. but seem like the loft and SBP asking price lower than launch price now.. not sure transacted price

That is normal lar…..The Loft is selling lower than early launching….around 20% lower. This is what mah sing did to their early bird buyer. Anyhow still 50% unsold for the Loft.

Actually even if last time you bought batu maung landed 400k and sold 900k last year still very sohai you know. Last time I bought 2 units condo for 230k each, and i sold them 2 years ago for 950k each. The reason I made more money than you is because I don’t simply buy this type of sohai mahsing property.
Batu Maung DST 400k most probably back in 2006, as my Teluk Kumbar DST was only 300K. Now 2017 300k buy a 750sqft LMC in Sg Ara.
This overwhelming is jst about the house price, not an affordable unit if in psf. Its confused ppl.
