    You got fooled. This is only publicity, all from Berjaya sales office. And the news in The Star news paper too, in which Berjaya questions the state gov’s motive of requiring affordable applicants to have a degree. It’s all PR and publicity…:)

If you expect developer to initiate and contact you … those that took the effort and contact developer first and submit to the authorities will get the property. Anyway, PM PM also no use cause application still need to go through Perumahan. Not any Tom, Dik or Harrie can buy. First time home owner, household income not more than RM5K, Penang born & registered voter. If fail one of the above criteria can forget it

    I went to site visit on yesterday, indeed, the tower would be situated exact beside Bukit Gantong Hokkien Cemetery. Any advice in terms of Chinese Feng Shui?
    Could somebody know the exact selling price for both type of units?
    Does the unit come with car park?
    When is the date of completion?
    In fact, the traffic around that area is terrible jam.

    “L” shaped building. In this case at least 2 out of the 4 directions will face the cemetery.

    Anyway, if this is anything like LMC or Affordable Home, you CANNOT choose. It’s by balloting. So depends on your luck.

If you’re picky, want a big unit, sea view, cheap price … I think you’ll be waiting a very very very long time. Maybe this entire life time also cannot get. The developer also not soin la. If prime view, won’t build such cheap units. Will sell at premium condo price already.

    The crematorium ovens are operated daily so you not only get cemetery view but you will also surely get the smell coming out from the chimneys a couple of times per day.
    Hokkien Chinese calls it the “siow tu kia” (roast pork) smell.

    And this crematorium is the one with the best business in Penang.

    Go figure it out yourselves.

    I was told the units in “L” block which is 850sft,costs RM300K++ I think that is facing other than cemetery…yes if u want RM150K++ will have to view Padang Tembak flats,Batu Gantung funeralparlour n cemetery..

    As such, we are wondering what is approval conditions from Penang Local Planning Authorities?

    Anyway, still good location and Freehold. Will apply and try my luck. If face cemetery bo bian. Just close the window and stick mermaid sticker on the glass to improve view. :)

    Pls update yourself before comment. Actually chimney already abandoned. They already change to underground system. Why so scare about cemetery?? Nowadays a lot of condos & landed property just around or beside the cemetery area.
