    Nothing can be considered good living in Tsunami area. Reclaimed land with white ants. Muddy like margarine near the coastal line. Additional wear and tear because of corrosive salty
    water and you have to pay more in buying in this Tsunami area.

    Hello, this blog is interesting and quite informative. Would anyone be kind enough to shed some light on those ugly looking fans installed at a neighbouring building? They are REALLY big, and look like exhaust fans to me. Any concern with noise and smell, apart from the unsightly appearance?

    Hi misskhor,

    Yes, I believe those fans are exhaust fans. Local regulation stipulates that all public car park buildings (that is a commercial building therefore public) must have these exhaust fans installed to suck out exhaust fumes from vehicles. So normally building designers would install exhaust fans for toilets and kitchens together, therefore you see 6 or 8 big fans here. I think noise and smell are inevitable now.

    Why not check with developer if the fans posed a problem to those lower floor.By the view from outside,it looks like between level 4 to 7.Not so sure.Anyone can share here.I believed there’s nothing to worry about.Those affected should highlight to them.

    As far as I’m aware,there are several on going projects plus some affordable apartments in Tg.Tokong area.Many are still in the pipeline but with current soft market and downturn,developers are cautious and will probably built those houses that are below one million dollars.This project is safe as far as E&O is concerned as its almost sold out already.Probably after next year,things will be more positive and back to normal.I wouldn’t deny now is the time to bargain and purchase your dream home.I have made mine.Just my view.

    This project is progressing fast and on schedule.My friend told me its on level 2 now and was so excited with this purchased especially his first home.Just to share.Property Fair is on this weekend at Gurney Plaza/Paragon.For those house hunting,its good to make some comparison and bargain.

    Initially I thought only Block A units 1 & 2 are super hot facing afternoon+evening sun, but actually units 9 & 11 are also very hot, getting afternoon sun from 1pm to evening. Plus those giant fans at Jazz Hotel, I think units 9 & 11 are the worst!!!!!!

    No, somehow it cannot be blocked by Unit-1. Check it out yourself today, you will find that from 1pm til evening, it’s hot at unit 9 & 11. Same goes for Block B, you have 4 units with such problem. Blood sucker E&O!

    Whatever angle u are facing, if your unit is facing WEST guarantee u will hit by the afternoon sun. Then your unit will easily heat up like oven, unless got something block in front of your unit.

    From your message, Block A Units 1, 2, 9 & 11 are hot as for Block B Units 1, 3, 5 & 7 also hot.I’m not sure but certain units at Blk A may be shielded by Jazz Residence.Probably only certain floors are affected.You mean out of one row of nine units per floor only the above four per block are hot and the other five units not mentioned here are lucky not feeling the heat.Anyway,thanks for sharing.Will also get my friend to check it out personally.Its good to share here anything we know also for benefit of other owners.Cheers…

    Frankly,this forum is too open with a mixture of real purchaser and those who are here to contribute and share opinions for benefit of all in general.If its a real issues like the big fan from Jazz residence posing a problem directly facing those unit,fine but we keep seeing repeated rubbish here and there to the extend some said Sien Nia.
    Good suggestion.How can we start the ball rolling by ensuring only those genuine owners are attached in the proposed group and No outsiders.Lets open for discussion.

    I still remember when Latitude was sold out during the initial construction stage, the buyers were congratulating each other. But look how sad the place is today, flippers got burnt, difficult to rent out, price going down by the day, complete disaster.
