i think most good units are gone, left with those units facing the t-junction, price kind of expensive for terrace around 450K, good thing is that they cover the bank interrest until OC.
Not sure if they have opened an extended version of this project with the size of 20×85, the extended length enable the front & back of the house to park cars. But the price over 500K.

oops…looks like i’m a bit late….any new project to recomend? preffered location is Seberang Jaya or Perai area….

    @Sam
Seberang jaya area is convenient for those working in penang, but need to remember that if when you have children & start looking for schools or your kids qualify for prestigious school it will be quite far for them. Good chinese schools are around Raja Uda or BM areas.
    Anyway some of new projects
Megahomes : opposites Megamall, 2 ½ storey semi-D, very convenient as near to Penang Bridge, price from 599K. The 599K units near to High Voltage cable so the better units around 620K. Design outlook quite nice
Casa Perdana 2, enter from Jalan Baru, 2 ½ Storey terrace, price around 480K. I think Chinese is not the majority around the surrounding area.
Villa Premiro, I think all sold out, have to wait Bumi lot, terrace around 402K, price might increase. Same area as Casa Perdana
Mandarin Quarters, 3 storey terrace in Raja uda, imo the best location in Raja Uda as it is situated at the end of RU road, means you can enter from NS Highway or Outer ring road without having to go thru the jam. Price from 399K but the land size is quite small but is compensated with the built up size. The propose landscape is quite nice.
Asas Murni, 2 ½ storey terrace along the trunk road between krico & jalan rozhan, quite cheap around 320K with open rooftop. However the con is it is the only residential project among the commercial areas, next to abandon mall. Full of foreign workers around, Even though it is G&G feel not safe.
Inpian Residence: 2 storey terrace near to Alma Tesco, sold out but the developer accepts booking for bumi lot, means you pay the 10% sign the S&P but it won’t be stamped until the Govt approve the release of the bumi lot, good to lock the price. Only corner available, price from 348K.

have a look at Casa Perdana 2…I like the house, look beautiful with greenery surrounding…but main concern, high voltage power line on right & left!! it look very near, don’t think there is 150m away from the house?? when pass by the power lines, felt tension…however 460K-470K for 2 1/2 storey house sound OK….

One row of the tropicana terrace houses front car porch have already sink.
The door knob in certain unit is rusty even before buyer officially stay.
Workmanship very bad. Certain unit even have water marks on the ceiling.
Uneven wall and crack line so obvious. Even some of the balcony is flooded due to cloak drainage on the pipe. I went there with my friend who eventually didn’t buy.
    Prices are also sky high.

Good luck to those who still wanted to buy Taman Bagan.

    March 20th, 2013 at 00:18 | #17

Seeing is believing….please drive there tomorrow and observe yourself.
Better still try to get into any empty unit and scrutinise carefully.

For the sinking part, go tomorrow 20/3/13. Then maybe you can still see that the whole row of the front porch is already in the process to redo the floor due to the sinking. That row leads you towards the Exclusive Terrace Unit.

    March 20th, 2013 at 00:25 | #18

The terraces are at Jalan Bagan 57.

    See yourself, seeing is believing.
Don’t listen to hearsay, drive there tomorrow @ 20/3/13.

    I m very disappointed with BSG…
Somemore selling at sky-rocket price, think again you pay premium and get inferior quality “products”.

Nowaday, which new developed houses are totally defect free? Most developer will not afford to wait until fundation stablized prior start the construction. These are all the side effect of sinking, cracked, etc.

Are you referring to history ? What is the price are you expecting ?
    RM 490K ?

hmm…this one looks like the short compound one…most likely the seller got it early during launch time…around 388k le….now selling 518k is already earning ALOT!!! sad…with this trend how can i afford a house….

    April 3rd, 2013 at 07:17 | #31

    @ HomeBuyer

You can really consider other places,
My personal opinion, not worth to buy this area at this kind of price.
Open your eyes and give yourself more option rather than keep aiming Taman Bagan.
Anyway, if you intend to buy and stay, don’t rush into it.
Latest news…..valuation for This project from valuer is only RM500k as at 2013.
So if you still wanna buy, fork out the balance sum.
    Not worth it.

    May 29th, 2016 at 10:12 | #33

Hi Domingo, if you know anyone or your friend has a unit for sale, please do keep me posted. I would like to sell my condo in Penang and buy a landed property in Butterworth area such as Taman Bagan, Bagan Baru, Bagan Ajam, Bagan Jermal, Sungai Puyu, Chain Ferry and Bagan Lalang. It is good to retire in Butterworth rather than in island due to limited empty land and traffic congestion everywhere.
