Personally, I think the market price is there, but it is difficult to sell because you have to target foriengner. For locals, mostly prefer tanjung bunga/tokong area.

Batu Ferringhi is further as compared to Tanjung Tokong/Bungah area. I know peoples who moved from Batu Ferringhi to Tanjung tokong as it is nearer to their workplace.
But of course, that’s just my personal opinion. There are also retirees and businessman who preferred to stay near beach too.
thats right…. feringgi is not a favourite place for working people in penang… most to most holiday home only… but for foreigners they love feringgi… coz they don’t have to bear the brunt of travelling to their workplace daily….. even expats who work in penang the furthest place they stay is t.bungah coz ther’s good road in tg.bungah connecting to the city then the other areas…. but feringgi definitely have the market….. it’s a world-known tourist destination…. many are wanting to have their holiday or retirement huge bungalows or villas in feringgi….
