    Hi Jo, your sister bought two months ago,I thought this project was sold out long ago! Was it through sub-sale? Care to share how much she purchased. OHM did have a project near the PEAK but at the moment still negotiating for compensation to the folks staying there.Through sources,their project may kick start end of next year or early 2014.I think it may block the view of those staying very low floor, not too sure.For those high floor units it should be safe, my opinion.

    For those who is taking Ivan’s design, sorry to tell you that you are in for a bad workmanship. I have seen his work in my friends’ house and they have bad finishing. Not here to sabo him but just to warn those who wants to choose designer. Look at his own showroom also bad workmanship.

    I am one of the owners who was also quoted an extortionate price for renovation work from this Ivan Design. I agree with Shim after visiting his showroom and seen how bad the workmanship was. I understand the reason it is so bad, is because he employs people who have never done any building work in their life as can be seen from the noise, dirt, dust they create with complete disregard for the health and safety of all the residents in the peak. I was very lucky because I didn’t engage him to do my renovation work, I got it done by a proper contractor who have had experience of proper renovation work, for half the price this Ivan Design quoted me.

    The peak is worth rm500k only. The views will be blocked by a condo project by VST end of this year.

    Not to mention the maintenance for the Peak is really poor. Algae is growing in their swimming pool….

    Tripinnacle is an affordable housing project. You might over qualified to apply for it. :)

    The Peak has very bad maintenance and quality build. Algae infested swimming pool, leakages from pool to car park. Shows bad water proofing. Leakages into units from window. Major cracks on structure. A lot of problems. I seriously do not recommend the peak to anyone unless you really have no other options. I am lucky to have sold my unit. Besides, the Tamarind has a better location and price wise is about the same. The Tamarind comes semi furnished as well. S and P, stamping all included. Why settle for this?

    Another E & O supporter wish to sell Tamarind? Price range is about the same? You forgot to mention “facing Jazz units” only, ie you see multi level car park/building 40-60ft away from your balcony each day.
    For sea view + high floor unit, you need to fork out min 850k with 1 car park only. On top of that, >1000units + commercial title also forgot to mention?
    Furthemore, if you really an ex Peak owner, it reflects your personality by talking so much after selling your property.

    I am just telling the truth. Too bad the truth hurts for you. I got my Tamarind unit for rm700k comes with 2 car parks high floor. Location wins it all, but most importantly is the quality and the semi furnished that would easily cost another rm50k. So it’s a good deal for me. I sold the Peak the moment I found out about all the defects. Not to mention the joint management body and committee has no idea how to run and maintain the peak. It is only going to be harder to sell in the future provided the owners give a huge discount. I sold my unit for rm580k. Faster run first. Now I am upgrading to Tamarind. Just being realistic.

    Yes JMB is new but they are friendly,cooperate and learning
    Congrat if you get the E&O new project with 700k
    But with the price you only can see concrete
    But with the price in the peak you can see a million dollar seaview, gurney view , komtar view , Penang bridge view and ……second bridge view
    I am happy and satisfy to stay here

    The view will be gone soon. More condos coming up in front. Oh well location is near cemetery. More and more condos coming up. Sure dense as well. I thought I can stay there but after looking at the defect especially on the roof. The crack is so big but they use silicone to latch it up only! I got a shocked of my life. Yes developer cooperative but they give you quick fix solution, problems will come back again and again. For example swimming requires full water proofing layer but developer fix bit by bit. It is not fixing but hiding defects. So, thank goodness I know my construction stuff. Committee don’t know so just accept developer giving best. Truth is, developer taking all peak residents for a ride. Once, warranty period runs out, stakeholder funds will not be given back and bye bye. Peak residents might have to pay years of maintenance and that also cannot fix problem.

Leakages, defects, algae swimming pool, people throwing rubbish in lifts, no proper parking rules,no proper swimming at tires,water leaking into car park from swimming pool, huge cracks at the roof top and main structure, shoddy work from developer, a committee that doesn’t have a clue how to manage and the list goes on. Besides the future view of 85% of the units going to be blocked by another condo development.

    These are all real. Not lying about it. Time to wake up and choose a better location such as tamarind.

    For me tamarind basically is a service apartment, the design just like hotel and you can’t even put your slipper outside the main door. People is gonna come and goes. You don’t have a long term neighbour…..

    Check already from insider, the s&p for the tamarind is under residential use so legal action can be take if owner turn to service apartment but the price is now 1 million for 1k sf high floor
    I am looking for the peak 1k sf intermediate unit around RM 700k cause at least still have room to appreciated after > 5 years when tanjung tokong become booming

    Don’t think Peak can appreciate anymore, mount erskine will have latitude, mont residence and ohm project and some other future projects. After all location is not the same as seri tg pinang.

    Many units are going for rm620k. Don’t need to pay rm700k for it. Hope that helps buddy.

    A seller of The Peak was asking for RM560k for his unit. I offered RM530k, for a moment he looked very tempted to say yes, but his wife thought it was not a good offer. The market is very soft right now, properties in lousy locations like The Peak will suffer. Asking prices for properties in the southern part of the island have already gone down by 10-15%.

    Typical, cant accept truth about the peak’s major defects. Everyone knows. Hard to sell. How can rhey fix huge cracks at roof top with silicone only. Swimming leaking into the bottom car park. I know all these defects are hard to fix. Best to avoid.
